The wave of cloud is passing over the region delivering the first bout of rain. A large surge of tropical moisture is now building across Central Northern Australia.
Today’s front will clear overnight but the next one will slowly move in to take its place, after delivering widespread rain across the nations heartland. So as one weather event clears another will take its place.
It is going to be a cloudy wet week with solid inland rain totals on the way.
