GRASS FIRE RISK CONTINUES TO FLARE

There’s been a spike in grass fires throughout the states’s North West.
Hazard reduction burns caused nine blazes in just three days across the New England last week.
That’s on top of almost a dozen grass fires that have kept Liverpool Plains emergency services busy since the beginning of August.
Landholders are being asked to remain vigilant when conducting any burn-offs on properties in the area.
