Armidale Hospital’s new medical wing is one step closer to becoming a reality.
The tender for the $3.6-million facility, which will house a range of specialist services, has been awarded to Ware Building Construction.
The new complex will feature consulting rooms for areas of health including anaesthesia, dietetics and chemotherapy.
New South Wales Health Minister Jillian Skinner says residents will have access to the centre from mid next year.
