EX-HUSBAND FUMING AFTER MANSLAUGHTER MUM IS FREED

A Central Coast woman who drowned her two sons in a bath in Canada is set to be released from hospital and deported.

Allyson McConnell is due to leave Alberta Hospital today after serving two thirds of her 15-month manslaughter sentence.

Her ex-husband Curtis says he’s appalled at the short sentence and questioned whether anyone in Australia would know about McConnell’s crimes.

Canadian authorities are trying to prevent her from leaving, pending the outcome of the appeal in the case.
