High profile defence lawyer Bill Potts is stepping up his battle against police moves to have the Finks Gold Coast Chapter declared a criminal organisation.
His office today lodged and served their written arguments with the High Court, detailing why they believe the Criminal Organisation’s Bill and its amendments are unconstitutional.
They are denied the right to know the evidence against them and denied the right to cross examine witnesses. In essence we are saying the Finks MCC like every other person in QLD has a right to know what their accusers are saying against them.”
The application will be heard later this year.
