It’s been revealed police placed a covert officer into a watchhouse cell, during the Damien Leeding murder investigation.

A court has heard the undercover detective tried to coax information from one of the accused.

Two men are facing a committal hearing over Detective Leeding’s death, following a Gold Coast armed hold-up.
