CORRY GETS SILVER, ELLIOTT BRONZE

17-year-old Taylor Corry from Anna Bay has claimed a silver in the 100 metres backstroke for athletes with an intellectual disability.
CORRY: “Oh i’m so ecstatic…I’d just like to thank my mum because she’s the best mum in the whole wide world.”
13-year-old Maddison Elliott – the youngest member of the team – made the podium in the S8 400 free.
COMMENTRY: “And look at this Maddision Elliott of Gilleston Heights, go Maddy, you’ll get a bronze.”
ELLIOTT: “They’ll be cheering and be so happy for when I get back home.”
