In a seperate incident, police believe a teen is behind the robbery of a 7 Eleven store at Palm Beach early this morning.
Disguised in a hoodie and dark sunglasses, he produced a 20 centimetre knife and demanded money and cigarettes.
The attendant pulled out the cash tray and handed over several cartons.
“Obviously recently we’ve had a recent spike in offences each and every one will be investigated and we’ll do everything in our power to bring them before the courts.”
The robber was last seen on 19th Avenue.
