Port Macquarie’s Lighthouse Road is set to undergo a major revamp, with plans currently up for public exhibition.
The project will see the road between Pacific and Matthew Flinders drives resurfaced, widened and re-aligned.
“Also included on the plan is a cycleway, shared pathway, along with a bus way so there’s a couple of additions there, but it’s always best to get the feedback from the locals, there may be something that’s been missed in the plan.”
The plans will be on exhibition until November 12, with council hoping to start work next year.
