More than 50 new charges have been laid against a trio dubbed the “buzzsaw bandits”.
Sonny Jenkins, Talon Blackwood and Luke Nolan and faced Southport Court today.
Armed with guns and concrete cutters, the men allegedly robbed taverns, clubs and A-T-Ms between Burleigh and Ormeau earlier this year.
“The investigating police are going through telephone intercepts it seems and are deriving charges from information they’re getting from that surveillance tape.”
A girlfriend of one accused was also charged over the crime spree.
