The Forresters Beach Ocean Swim had to be held in Wamberal lagoon due to big seas.
The new venue provided a good viewing area for spectators and a new challenge for the swimmers. Warren Keegan and Morgan Gilley won the 3 klm event while Lochie Hinds and Berkeley Vales’s Kristen O’Brien triumphed in the 1.5 klm contest.
