$30 MILLION TOURIST PARK FLAGGED FOR THE TWEED

The wheels have been set in motion for the construction of a 355 unit holiday park at South Tweed heads.

The state government is considering a $30 million development application for the River Heights tourist park for a site between Fraser drive and the Pacific Highway.

There is already quite a bit of accommodation in that area so I suspect it’s popular for those who seek that sort of lifestyle.”

Tweed Council intends to express its support for the development to the Joint Regional Planning Panel.
