Two men arrested in the Hunter region this morning, over the shooting of a high ranking member of the Gladiators motorcycle in July have been charged with shooting with intent to murder.

The two men aged 35 and 40 were arrested by detectives attached to Strike Force Nevarda around 6.30 this morning at Ashtonfield near Maitland.
One was taken to Maitland police station while the other was taken to Raymond Terrace police station.
The 56-year-old was taken to Cessnock Hospital with gunshot wounds after being found by the side of the road back in July 22.
Both will face court today, the 35-year-old in Cessnock Local Court and the 40-year-old in Raymond Terrace Local Court.
