A man’s body, believed to be that of a South Korean swimmer who went missing on the weekend, has been found on the far north coast.
The body was discovered at Safety Beach in Woolgoolga by a member of the public early this morning.
Police launched a land, sea and air search for the 23-year-old, who got caught in a rip on Saturday evening at Beach Street.
His 30-year-old friend, who was caught in the same rip was rescued.
The body is yet to be formally identified but police say it is thought to be the man they have been searching for.
