COFFS HARBOUR’S DAY FOR DANIEL

Daniel Morcombe’s parents joined hundreds of families dressed in red, on a walk to promote child safety in Coffs Harbour today.
Almost 9 years since Daniel was abducted and killed on the Sunshine Coast, his mother and father remain determined that his death not be in vain.
“What we all need to realise is that the internet is very accessible and kids are over confident, and adults unfortunately, predators out there, they gain the confidence and wanna meet these kids.”
It’s the second year Coffs Harbour has hosted the walk, which encourages parents to take an active role in protecting their children.
The day raised $3,000 for the Morcombe foundation.
