MidCoast Council will begin the search for a GM in the new year after the shock resignation of General Manager Glenn Handford.
Mr Handford leaves after 19 months in the role, to take up a position in the private sector.
‘Glenn has laid down the foundations that will enable this council to move forward and those foundations have left us in a very very strong position, one of the strongest amalgamated councils in New South Wales,” said Mayor David West.
A new General Manager won’t be appointed until March next year.
