The north coast will once again feel the effects of the O’Farrell government’s job cuts, this time 300 are slated to go statewide from the Department of Primary Industries.
The cuts include 50 biosecurity staff, raising fears there’ll be not enough experts to deal with future Hendra Virus outbreaks.
