One of Australia’s top economic commentators today returned to his old home town of Newcastle, to speak about the global economy.
Alan Oster was also reunited with his former high school Economics teacher Peter Cunningham.
“He basically introduced me to economics, got me interesdted in it and I’ve been working in Federal treasury, OEC in paris and now NAB for a long time.”
The star pupil, now NAB’s Chief Economist, is predicting an interest rate cut in February.
