THIEVES LEAVE EMPTY-HANDED AFTER HASTINGS POINT RAM-RAID

A group of would-be-thieves wound up empty-handed after carrying out a ram-raid at a Hastings Point petrol station overnight.
Police say three men reversed a stolen ute into the shop, and tried to smash their way into an ATM.
“When that failed they then reversed the ute into the building probably three or four times to try and gain access to the ATM again, that failed and they left the premises empty handed”
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the men or the white Mazda ute, with Queensland registration plates.
