The head of the Australian Turf Club has confirmed he’s come to agreement with Nathan Tinkler to withhold prizemoney to help pay off debts his racing operation, Patinack Farm, owes the club.
It comes after the stable’s head trainer John Thompson revealed on Sydney radio that horses had been forced to go without feed due to the operation’s inability to pay for feed.
Only last month, Patinack Farm offloaded more than 300 of its 1000-odd horses at a reduction sale on the Gold Coast.
