Former Coffs Harbour Mayor, Keith Rhoades, has been elected Vice President of the Australian Local Government Association, which held its annual conference in Hobart yesterday.
Cr Rhoades, who served eight years as the popularly elected mayor, is also President of the New South Wales Local Government Association.
Cr Rhoades says he is looking forward to his new role and will focus on maintaining programs funded by the federal government, such as Roads to Recovery.
