MOTORCYCLIST DIES AFTER HITTING PEDESTRIAN NEAR WYEE

A man has died and another is in a serious condition following a motorcycle accident at Wyee overnight.

A motorcyclist, aged in his 40s was travelling north on Wyee Road at about 10.40pm last night when he collided with a pedestrian, near the Wyee train station.

The motorcycle rider died at the scene, while the 28-year-old male pedestrian was flown to John Hunter Hospital with lacerations, head and leg injuries.
