The Hunter region has dominated the singles division of the New South Wales Open Bowls Tournament at Old Bar.
Six lawn bowlers from the area have qualified for the national titles in Melbourne in January.
The lineup includes Kurri Kurri’s Andrew Rees, Red Head’s Brendon Baker and Australian representative Terry Antram from Soldiers Point.
The tournament continued today with the pairs, with state champions David Holt and Michael Clarke among the contenders.
Tomorrow the triples will jump on the green for the final day of competition.
