A man is in a critical condition in John Hunter Hospital after being punched in the head several times early yesterday morning in Glen Innes.
At 1:30am, a 30-year-old man was standing outside a hotel in Grey street when an argument with another man turned violent.
A 25-year-old man has been charged with the attack and was given bail to appear before Glen Innes local court on December 11.
