Tamworth police are on the lookout, for vandals who caused $4,000 worth of damage to Gipps Street playing surfaces on Tuesday night.
Certain fields will be closed for two weeks, after a car drove over them, ripping up the grass.
CCTV footage has been handed to police, with officers also reviewing surveillance of a break-in at Hopscotch Cafe on Kable Avenue earlier this week.
