The main thoroughfare between Tinonee and Wingham has been re-opened to traffic today – almost four weeks earlier than planned.
The Bight Bridge and Lobban Road have been closed for the past six weeks while they underwent repair works.
Greater Taree City Council says good weather and conditions helped speed up the project, ahead of its intended 8 to 10 week timeframe.
Line marking will be undertaken on Friday.
