Four Tamworth homes were hit in break and enters across the city overnight.
Property was stolen from a Woodward Avenue address, including a Mazda 3 sedan – which was involved in a police pursuit soon after.
The vehicle was later found burnt out in Bithramere Lane.
A Suzuki sedan was taken from an Ashburton Street home – it too was discovered burnt out at the West Tamworth brick works.
Meanwhile, a Holden commodore was stolen from Karwin Street, while residents of a Garden Street home were also robbed.
