TOUGH AFTERNOON FOR JETS GIRLS AGAINST SYDNEY

The Jets women’s side has gone down to Sydney to stay on the bottom of the W-League ladder.
The Sky Blues dominated the opening exchanges, on the scoreboard after 10 minutes thanks to Kyah Simon.
Two minutes later Sydney was in again, as a dangerous corner fell for Alanna Kennedy.
The Jets teenage keeper Eliza Campbell was doing her best to keep the scoreline respectable.
Newcastle did manage to get forward but the like of Tara Andrews couldn’t find a way through.
