JETS WOMEN AVOID SPOON WITH FIGHTING DRAW

The Jets women have avoided the W-League wooden spoon with a three all draw against the Victory.
They made the worst possible start, conceding a goal inside three minutes.
Things looked even worse when Enza Barilla put the visitors two in front.
But Newcastle came roaring back just before half time thanks to Jasmine Courtenay.
Two minutes later Australian representative Emily van Egmond produced a cracking volley to tie things up.
