Police have charged three people over a series of armed robberies on the Mid North Coast.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man face charges over the armed robbery of the Matilda Blue service station at Wauchope last month.
It’s alleged they threatened an employee with a metal pole and escaped with cash and cigarettes.
“In any investigation there’s a combination of obviously good investigative work, forensic analysis and obviously intelligence and information from the public.”
Meanwhile, a Moree boy has been charged over the armed robbery of a Kempsey pizza outlet in May last year.
The 17-year-old’s been refused bail to appear at Kempsey Children’s Court on February 27.
