The Hunter Valley has again attracted some of the world’s best musical acts with Paul Simon and Robert Plant announcing they will play over the Easter long weekend.
They join a growing list of international acts to play in the Hunter including Elton John, Dolly Parton and Santana.
Paul Simon will play on Easter Saturday with Robert Plant taking the stage on Easter Sunday at the Hope Estate winery.
Michael Chugg, the Executive Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, says he hopes the concerts will encourage tourists to spend the Easter long weekend in the Hunter.
“Outside cap (sic) cities, the Hunter offers an entirely different experience from the arenas and stadiums,” said Chugg. “It’s a beautiful location, acts love playing there, and fans love the outdoors, the beautiful surrounds.”
Tickets will go on sale from Ticketmaster next Wednesday.
