This Mad Max inspired, 1973 Ford Landau Coupe has been converted into the world’s first “carbeque”.
The half car, half BBQ, is the brain-child of Gold-FM larrikin, Merrick Watts.
“I guess it’s just two great things in one. Because it’s a beautiful car and we’ve got the BBQ in the back, so we can just pull up anywhere, get snags from the esky in the back and cook everyone a free BBQ, so it’s great.”
It’s arrived on the coast just in time for Australia Day and will be sticking around for two weeks.
