It’s the dream of many retirees to travel around Australia, and these ones have done just that… but by boat.
Surrounded by family and friends back in Newcastle, Brian English and Roy Brough have just completed a seven month circumnavigation of the continent.
They were stalked by a croc off WA, and took on water in the Great Australian Bight.
” We’ve visited remote communities, offshore islands, reefs…was just an amazing opportunity.” said Brian.
The men are already planning their next voyage on their aptly-named yacht, Once More Dear Friends.
