A 35-year-old man from Pinket was arrested and charged with a firearms offence yesterday afternoon in Glen Innes.
The man allegedly broke into his ex-wife’s home, armed with a gun, to wait for her and her new partner to arrive home.
A violent struggle took place before he allegedly fired the gun, luckily no-one was injured.
The man was granted bail with strict conditions in place to stay away from the victim.
