The Disability Reform Minister was in Newcastle today, announcing the city will soon be home to a regional office as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The centre will help local people with disabilities access their support needs.
The government also launched a TAFE program aiming to place 24 people with disabilities in employment.
