$400,000 FOR NORAH HEAD BOAT RAMP

Plans to upgrade the Norah Head boat ramp, are progressing, with the state government announcing $400 thousand in additional funding for the project.
Set to be the only ocean ramp between Terrigal and Swansea – it will be shared for recreational use and rescue operations.
“I think boaties deserve what they require to be safely launched into the water.”
But with the entire project costing close to $3 million, Wyong Council will now look to lobbying the federal government for extra funding.
“it’s probably still got 6 to 12 months in the planning stage and in the meantime council has still got to try and find the rest of the money which is still a lot.”
