THOMSON COULD FACE 150 FRAUD CHARGES

Embattled MP Craig Thomson is expected to face 150 fraud charges following his arrest on the Central Coast this afternoon.
Police arrested him at his Central Coast electorate office following investigations into fraud allegations.
The 48-year-old has previously denied allegations that he misused union funds to pay for prostitutes, air travel, entertainment and cash withdrawals when he was national secretary of the Health Services Union from 2002 to 2007.
Thomson’s lawyer Chris McArdle said Thompson would plead not guilty to all charges.
It is thought Victorian detectives will apply for his extradition.
