A 23-year-old man was refused bail at Tamworth local court today after being charged with a number of firearms offences and assault yesterday afternoon.
Just after 11 o’clock yesterday morning, every police car available in Tamworth was called to a brawl involving more than 20 people on Bourne Street.
It’s alleged the male produced a firearm and made threats before he ran into a house.
Police cleared the dwelling and later returned with a search warrant where they found a 22 calibre rifle that was stolen from a Tamworth home last year.
