Work has started early to turn Kingscliff’s Marine Parade into a one way street.
The northbound lane has been blocked at Turnock and Seaview streets – opening the strip to southbound traffic only.
The change will generate an extra 50 car spaces.
“I think its a very positive step for Kingscliff, having the street scaping the lighting, and extra parking is a real positive step.”
The work is expected to take up to 12 weeks.
