A 25-year-old man has received stitches to his head, after being hit by a car and assaulted in Tamworth.
Police were called to Cossa Street at about four o’clock yesterday morning, following reports of a brawl.
It’s believed the man was involved in a verbal argument before he was hit by the Ford Falcon.
A group of people then assaulted the 25 year old before he ran away.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
