Two sailors were rescued at Port Stephens on Wednesday evening after their four-metre catamaran overturned in strong wind off Soldiers Point.
In failing light, the crew of the Tea Gardens ferry went to the men’s aid, plucking them from the choppy water.
The grateful sailors were cold but otherwise unhurt.
