Chinderah residents forced to deal with a crown-owned nature reserve flooding their properties could soon get a reprieve.
State Member for Tweed Geoff Provest has vowed to look into the issue and will meet with council on Thursday.
Some residents have spent the past few days pumping water from their backyards to protect their homes.
They’re calling for better drainage.
