  1. Whoa … I felt something around this time. I was outside kartchering the drive around 11.30 am on 7/3/13 when I felt and heard a large bang similar to maybe a door slamming shut. I had my hand on the wall of the house at the time and felt a slight shudder. I went in and out of the house but found nothing to account for this noise. Shortly afterwards the hornets from RAAF base Williamtown flew over in formation and I thought that maybe they had broken the sound barrier. It is only now that I realise that what I heard and felt was probably the earthquake. I would appreciate comments on whether I could be right.

  2. My husband felt it – we live in North Lambton. I didn’t believe him until I Googled it! Freaky.
