Forster courthouse is set to undergo a $1-million makeover.
The upgrade will see the registry and public waiting area expanded, and a third interview room constructed.
A new split-level counter will also be installed and the amenities will be made more accessible to people with disabilities.
The courthouse will close from March 25, with works expected to be complete in around six months.
All matters will be heard at Taree Local Court during the renovations.
