Newcastle Knights owner and mining magnate Nathan Tinkler has been grilled in a Sydney court about the collapse of one of his companies.
He’s denied signing a deal to buy a $28-million stake in coal explorer Blackwood when he knew he wouldn’t have the money to fund it.
Mr Tinkler had risked arrest if he didn’t show up at today’s hearing.
