Hamwicks have wrapped up Newcastle Cricket’s minor premiership with an embarrassingly easy win over Belmont.
Merewether secured second spot after beating Wallsend.
Wests locked in fourth with a comfortable victory over Cardiff-Boolaroo.
At Harker Oval, Wests Rhodri Evans survived an early chance but only managed to score 14.
Todd Griffiths didn’t hang around for long, falling victim to a fired up Matt Willett.
In the end Anthony Hobson steered Wests to victory and into the semis.
