Alzheimer’s Australia’s memory van made a stop in Coffs Harbour today as part of a state-wide tour.
Its staff teaching people how to actively prevent the occurrence of the debilitating disease.
Almost 2000 new cases of dementia are diagnosed in Australia each year.
“We get people to challenge their brain for example even brushing their teeth with a different hand that’s a really good thing to challenge the brain. Do different sort of crosswords, sudoku” said Clare Coyle, from Alzheimer’s Australia.
The van will be at Nambucca Plaza from 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.
