MEN ROBBED AT GUN POINT

Two men have been robbed at gun point overnight, while stopping to take a rest break at Port Macquarie.

The men, aged 34 and 59, were travelling south from Brisbane when they pulled over along Hastings River Drive just before 11 o’clock.

While sitting in the car, a man armed with a handgun threatened them and demanded money.

He stole two laptops, two tablet computers, a digital camera and a backpack, before escaping in a dark coloured Holden commodore.

The man’s described as being 180 centimetres tall, of a thin build and with light brown hair.

He also has tattoos on the fingers on his left hand.

He was wearing a short-sleeved black shirt and jeans at the time of the attack.
