Gold Coast singers Tarscha and David De-Vito are warming up their vocal chords ahead of three flood recovery concerts for rural Queenslanders this weekend.
‘Higher Ground’ will tour Laidley, Chinchilla and Mundubbera, three communities hit hard by floods earlier this year.
“Those people do get affected quite regularly, people don’t necessarily go out there quite often so it’s nice to take back to the people”
“There’s going to be some great acts, great music, great festivities and help the locals in the regional areas”
Organisers are seeking donations.
The concerts begin April 19.
