Senior Council officers are accused of deliberately misleading the state, in a bid to get the failed Oceanway project off the ground.
They’ve come under investigation by the CMC, after a complaint was made by Oceanway opponents.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this was just the tip of the iceberg, especially with the incredibly dubious cruise ship proposal, the rampant conflict of interest in the appointments to the waterways authority board, the Mayors ‘jobs for mates’ scandal and his handing out of a massive and controversial development approval (well above the local area plan limits) on Chevron Island to his personal friend. There will be a lot more to this story, and the sooner it’s all exposed the better.

Recent dealings with Cr. Robbins on this matter leave me of the same opinion, that some people in Council and representing Council are there only to push their own agenda. Not only this, when confronted with their plans they refuse to call a spade a spade even though they are holding one in their hands about to dig up our pristine dunes.
